Course Description

This is an advanced beginner course for people who can read Hangul. This course is recommended for those who like to and/or are planning to visit Korea. Students are free to use either English or Japanese during the class, and the instructor may use both languages during the course. This course aims to practice basic survival Korean expressions while traveling in Korea. In addition, this course also aims to introduce various cultural aspects of Korea through free discussion.

Seungkeun Lee

Instructor Biography

Seungkeun spent several years as a language instructor in public schools in Korea, and served as an English-Korean interpreter during his military service. Living, working and traveling in a variety of international contexts has also helped him to better understand the needs of language learners. He received a Bachelor's of Education from Seoul National University of Education, and completed the M.S.Ed. in TESOL program at TUJ. He works as an English/Korean language facilitator at TeLaCo (Teikyo Language Commons) of Teikyo University now.
