Course Description
This is an advanced-beginner course for people who can read and write at a basic level of Korean. This course offers students to make basic sentences of Korean, that can be used in situations like ordering food at a restaurant, making small talk about daily routines, and shopping. Students' knowledge of Japanese can help them learn how to make sentences, though it is not necessary. The course also aims to help participants continue learning Korean by themselves after the course. This course is extended from the KOR101 course, though taking KOR101 is not a prerequisite.

Instructor Biography
Seungkeun spent several years as a language instructor in public schools in Korea, and served as an English-Korean interpreter during his military service. Living, working and traveling in a variety of international contexts has also helped him to better understand the needs of language learners. He received a Bachelor's of Education from Seoul National University of Education, and completed the M.S.Ed. in TESOL program at TUJ. He works as an English/Korean language facilitator at TeLaCo (Teikyo Language Commons) of Teikyo University now.
