Revenue Management
This workshop is designed for professionals who want to learn about revenue management and how companies manage their revenue streams. It provides both a theoretical foundation and practical tools which are easy to apply to day-to-day operations. Participants will examine how new technologies have changed business and can help connect companies and customers at the right time and price, significantly increasing revenue potential. Using Excel, we will go through real-world calculation models to learn common tools and techniques of revenue management across industries such as manufacturing, hospitality and tourism, food service, entertainment, and conferencing. These models will take into account factors such as consumer data, purchasing, leverage, demand forecasting, pricing, distribution channel management and overbooking. Participants should gain a greater understanding of making strategic decisions about revenues, cash and resource management, and diversification in today's complex environment.
