This course equips adult ESL learners with the skills to become effective storytellers for ESL learners and children of all ages. Participants will explore storytelling techniques, language simplification, engagement strategies, and activities tailored for various literacy levels. The course includes hands-on practice, peer feedback, and an optional final project to refine storytelling skills.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Confidently tell engaging stories to ESL learners and children.

• Adapt language and storytelling techniques for various literacy levels.

• Utilize both traditional and digital storytelling methods.

• Guide children in creating their own stories.

• Apply effective strategies for managing mixed-level classrooms.

• Incorporate storytelling activities to enhance language learning.

Adult ESL learners (B2/C1), including teachers, parents, and college students, who want to share the joy of storytelling in English. Upper-level high school learners (B2/C1) may also participate.
