This course is designed for individuals who have recently arrived in Japan or have just begun living in a Japanese-speaking environment. Participants will develop the speaking and listening skills needed for daily life through a variety of exercises based on real-life scenarios. Topics include self-introductions, shopping, asking questions, and extending invitations. Through practical exercises corresponding to each topic, beginners will be able to enhance their learning and further develop their Japanese communication skills.
The textbook for this course consists of eight chapters, of which we will cover chapters 1 to 4 this semester. As it includes Romaji, Kana, and English translations, students who are not yet fluent in Japanese or cannot read Hiragana and Katakana can participate confidently. Over just five weeks, intensively learn useful vocabulary and expressions to improve your Japanese communication skills with assurance!
• Acquire useful vocabulary and expressions for everyday scenarios.
• Build confidence in employing basic vocabulary and expressions across specific topics such as self-introductions, shopping, asking questions, and extending invitations.
• Engage joyfully and practically in learning and practicing Japanese both in and outside of the classroom.
• Absolute beginners who have never studied or have had minimal exposure to Japanese.
