Christopher Covert is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk leader with over 20 years of experience spanning cybersecurity, quality, and product management. As the Partner Solution Engineer for Broadcom's Enterprise Security Group in Japan, he creates solutions that integrate Broadcom products and partner-provided services to enable Japanese partners to reach new customers. He also maintains a small consulting practice, where he supports global organizations, including startups and Fortune 100 companies, in navigating complex cybersecurity challenges. Bilingual in English and Japanese, Chris is recognized for his calm, strategic approach to incident response, program development, and public cloud security. A hands-on technical specialist and educator, he is passionate about empowering individuals and teams to tackle modern cybersecurity threats effectively. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Manchester and a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese from the University of Oregon.
