Course Description

This course is for anyone who has tried yoga and wants to explore more. You'll focus on enhancing your physical and mental balance, mindfulness, and overall health:

  1. Refining Your Poses: Work on improving your yoga poses for better strength, flexibility, and balance. Emphasis will be on alignment and incorporating mindfulness into your movements.
  2. Breathwork Techniques: Learn different ways to control your breath and manage your energy during practice.
  3. Mudra and Bandha Integration: Discover how to use mudras (hand gestures) and bandhas (energy locks) to guide your body's energy flow and deepen your awareness.

Mindfulness and Meditation: Get to know various meditation techniques to help you quiet your mind and become more self-aware.

Luiz Olimpio

Instructor Biography

Luiz Olimpio has been practicing yoga since 1999. He has trained in India with the nonprofit Yoga Alliance and holds regular meditation retreats in the Tokyo area and across Japan. He is a mindfulness facilitator for corporate clients to support organizational behavior. He is the founder of Olimpyoga, an executive mindfulness and wellbeing consultancy where motion and meditation are intertwined to promote physical health and enlightenment. Trainings include diversity and cross-culture communication workshops, senior management mindfulness facilitation, and teambuilding facilitation for cross-department synergy.
