Course Description

This course is for intermediate learners who want to use English more accurately and fluently. Grammar and vocabulary are taught and explained thoroughly, and all four language skills are developed systematically. Moving from intermediate to upper-intermediate can be a difficult transition. This course is designed to serve as a supplementary bridge between the two levels. GEC401 and GEC402 students who want some additional preparation before taking GEC501 or 502 or those who want to study additional material outside of the GEC401/402 textbooks will benefit from this course. However, this is an independent course and it is not necessary to have taken any TUJ English course previously. Because the course is only 20 hours, it is a great introduction to TUJ General English Courses for those at the intermediate or upper-intermediate levels. Examples of material covered in this course include: discussing future trends, comparing products and services, making predictions, describing communities and more.

Who should take this course

English language learners who are in the range of TOEFL 450-475/CBT 133-153, TOEIC 650-700 and EIKEN 2-kyu
