Course Description

Sustainable organization change and development is a key to continually winning in this fast changing global economy. However, as many studies indicate, more than 70% of change efforts fail, without meeting their goals. The objective of this workshop is to help you learn best practices of successful organization change and development toward achieving high performance results. We will learn (1) why organization change fails indicated by research, (2) key success factors and approaches to organization change and development, (3) how to build and align leadership team toward the change, (4) how to create and design strategic change plans, (5) how to lead the change, and (6) how to manage resistance. By the end of this interactive workshop facilitated by a seasoned OD professional who has accomplished a wide variety of change initiatives for various leading companies, including P&G, participants will have not only change best practices but also clear implementation plans of their organization change.

Yoshiharu Matsui

Instructor Biography

Yoshiharu is president of HPO Creation Inc., a management consulting company specializing in leadership and organizational development. He focuses his current practice in the areas of organizational change, leadership development, executive coaching, and marketing and sales development.

Earlier in his career, Yoshiharu spent 12 years in marketing and 12 years in human recourses and organizational development working first as Associate Marketing Manager for Richard Vicks, Japan, moved on to Marketing Manager at P&G along with acquisition, and later moved to HR/OD performing various management positions, including corporate training manager, Taiwan HR manager, Regional OD and talent development director. Yoshiharu holds a BA in Inter-cultural communication from Kita-Kyushu University, an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University and an Ed D in Organization Change at Pepperdine University.
