Cross-Cultural Communication is a field of study that focuses on how people from different cultural backgrounds strive to communicate effectively. It is sometimes challenging to get our message across to others, and when we interact with people from different backgrounds, it can be even more challenging. As we move toward a more globalized world, the need to communicate well with people from differing cultures has never been more important. This discussion based course will explore and discuss cultural dimensions, and other topics related to different aspects of cross-cultural communication. Students will gain a better understanding of their own culture, enhance their discussion skills, and learn how to improve their cross-cultural communication skills when speaking to someone who comes from a different cultural background.
