Course Description
This course prepares learners to pass the JLPT N1 level test (Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken- N1). Each week, roughly half of class time will focus on learning and practicing advanced grammar that appears on the test, and the remaining half practicing reading and listening skills. To get the most out of class time, learners will be given practice exercises to prepare for each lesson. This will also be useful for those people not necessarily intending to sit for the test, but wanting to improve their overall skills in reading, grammar and vocabulary. (This course is repeatable).
Learning Objectives
1. Understand upper intermediate and advanced grammar
2. Improve reading and listening comprehension
3. Get used to the question format of JLPT through exercise drills
Who should take this course
Advanced level students who will be taking the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 or who want to improve your overall skills in reading, listening, grammar and vocabulary
Instructor Biography
Aki Matsukura graduated from the First Department of Literature at Waseda University. After working for a publishing company specializing in educational materials for 9 years, she started teaching Japanese in 2002. She is currently teaching classes at various Japanese language institutions and universities.
